Woven Jacquard Throws

A jacquard throw has no print on it at all. The design is constructed on the loom out of the coloured yarns, which means it exists all the way through the cloth and appears on the reverse as a colour-swapped version of the front.

That is why these last. There is no layer sitting on the surface, so there is nothing to crack when it is folded, nothing to peel at a fold line, and nothing to lift after fifty washes. A jacquard throw looks the same in ten years as it did on delivery, which is not a claim we would make about any printed textile.

The trade is real and we state it up front: colours are limited to the yarns loaded on the loom, fine photographic detail cannot be woven, and the loom has to be set up for your design, which is a one-off cost like tooling. We quote that separately so you can see whether your run size earns it.

No. The set-up is a one-off and we hold it, so every repeat run carries none of it. That changes the arithmetic completely for anything ordered annually.
